Hello, my name is Hannah McGinty.

I’m a self-taught knitter, sheep enthusiast, and all around fiber fiend. I learned how to knit in December 2020, threw myself into the fiber world headfirst and haven’t looked back. I’ve since knit all sorts of things, including my first sweater (for my mom!), acquired a serious stash, got a job at my LYS, and read 50+ books from the library on various fiber arts. I decided to start this blog to share my journey as I learn new things (spinning and weaving are on the list), plan projects, write reviews, and get nerdy about all things fiber-related. I hope you’ll join me!

In my other life, I work as a professional classical singer and musicologist, specializing in historical performance, and a yoga teacher.  I live in Boulder, Colorado with my partner and our 3-year-old samoyed Zephyr.
